Happy Halloween to everyone,
As I look or I should say search around the blog community I realized that I am not the only one that took a break from blogging. Sometimes life gets in the way and all good intention s fly out the window.
But we can always start again.....like right now

This weekend I will upload photos of some of the work I have been doing over the course of this year.
Scrap booking is still my passion, my love and work.......but now I added art journaling to my repertoire.
Not I needed to learn another way of expressing myself,but my art has taken over my life.
And I am loving it!!!!! I made myself a promise to do something creative everyday,and believe me I am sticking to it.

Happy Day today!

This week is flying by like crazy. Did not do much cooking, but I did create something every day of this week so far. Well, I did take the plunge into the art journal world. This journal is called  " A Book About Me" I found a really cool blog on the internet that got me to jump.
My first page is about my name, I will post soon. Next part that I played with is wordle.net,I took my OLW challenge and entered all the words that I feel go with it and this is what came out of it:

It only took a minute to do,but I had to learn how to save it.   I took a screen shot,saved it on my desktop and cropped it in PS    Done!

Next step is finishing all my on going projects, like my daughters scrapbook album. I have one year left to do, so hopefully I can finish it in the next 2 weeks.

Would you not know it, I had to face my first challenges with this.

The little front page had one small line for the word...how to you get "Challenge" on that??

Well I found foam stickers that I could squeeze into the spot (wasn't easy)

Next how do you visualize challenge? Well, the budding arrows did it for me.

It is going to be a great year.I am loving this project, it is pushing me to do more,

try new things, paint outside the lines and learn more!!! You does not love that.

My second new thing is the "Creative Jump Start Summit 2012"http://nathaliesstudio.com

Everyday in January I receive an email with the link and password to my creative jump start.

Meaning, talented artists from around the world share their tips and tricks on what  gets

their creativity's flowing. As an example:

Carmen Sanchez from Spain posted a video making a ATC card with.... toilet paper.

Who knew... I loved what Donna Downey U.S.A. had to say or Nathalie Kalback from Germany.

It's been fun and would you know it , I have created something every day since the new year began.

New Year,New Me,New Challenges

  WOW, Happy New Year,

As always my year starts off with good intentions and new years resolutions.
We all want to be healthier,thinner,more active etc,etc,and etc........
But I never never follow through in the long run.
What can I do to make it different this year, so that I  will stick to my plans,goals and be happy???
Well, I have no answers to that, but I will give it my very best and begin today.

1. The big " D" Diet.....no more sugar,chocolates, cakes,candies and all the feel good goodies
2. The big " F" Fitness......hello treadmill,weights,stability ball and sore muscles
3. Taking a photo a day ......I missed this the most, after I finished my 365 project, I stopped taking
     photos.          
I do want to start with my new journal book I am visualizing in my head right now. It is going to be beautiful, just have to find the start button.
Next step is cleaning and sorting my pantry,out with the temptations, in with the healthy goodies.
I will post my progress here!

Here we do again,my second try as a blogger.

I am looking forward in writing about my life,my passions and everyday things that ran my life.
Hopefully I will be able to share my love for cooking,food,crafts and gardening with the world.
